On 23 August, Othoni will host a 5 km open water swimming race, organised by Swim Il Salento, with the support of the Cultural Association of Othoni.
Participation is free. Those who wish can make a voluntary donation, which will be used for the maintenance of the island’s paths and the restoration and preservation of its traditional stone walls.
A race in the sea, with a small way to help keep the island beautiful and accessible.
